How to Take Care of Your Skin in Winter Season

The beautiful, foggy and shivering days of winter are loved by everyone. The cold days of winter season brings uncomfortable dryness to the face, hands, and feet. However most of the people face dry skin problem. It is one of the most common problems and is often worse during the winter season. Some of the winter skin problems are chapped lips, flaking, cracking, etc.

Cleanse Away:  The key to a great skin is a cleanser. However you need to be careful while selecting a cleanser for yourself. There are different cleansers for different skin tones. You can opt for a combination cleanser in case you suffer from oil around the forehead and nose. Using cleanser twice a day can give the best results.

Quash Your Skin's Thirst: After cleaning your skin, you need to moisturize it, with a moisturizer suitable to your skin type. A moisturizer replenishes your skin.

Use Sunscreens:  Whether it is hot summer days or chilling winters you need a sunscreen always. It’s a myth that sunscreens are only for summers; winter sun can damage your skin. It is advisable to apply sunscreen to your face and your hands about 30 minutes before going outside.

Your hands also require care: Not only the face but hands also require proper care in winter. In order to avoid itchiness and cracking it is best to wear gloves while going outside.

Drink water: No matter what the season is it is better to always stay hydrated. Drinking water helps your skin look glowing and young.

Make your Feet dance: In winters your feet need much more care than usual regularly apply lotions that contain petroleum jelly or glycerin instead.
